ETM Consultancy is led by Elisabet Tora, a social and gender expert with extensive experience in both research and field work. Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and Italian, and bilingual in French, English, and Portuguese, Elisabet holds a Master’s degree in International Public Affairs and Human Rights, specializing in gender issues.


Elisabet provides her clients with cutting-edge social performance solutions, focusing on inclusive stakeholder engagement and addressing human rights, vulnerability, and gender-related risks. She has worked globally across the infrastructure, energy, nature conservation, and manufacturing sectors, with experience spanning Africa, the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.


Elisabet Tora's expertise spans Gender, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI); Human Rights and Social Impact Assessments and Management Plans; Land Access and Resettlement; Stakeholder Engagement Plans; Social and Human Rights Due Diligence; Livelihood Restoration Plans; Community Management Plans and Investment Initiatives; and Monitoring and Evaluation. She has also led document reviews, social assessments, and capacity-building programs.


As the lead author of the SRA Insight series on gender mainstreaming in land access and resettlement, Elisabet has also led IFC’s external presentation series on the same subject. Additionally, she has reviewed Development Finance Institution (DFI) standards, including the EBRD, advising on the integration of best practice frameworks such as CSRD and GRI.
